Uber for Business teams up with Deem to streamline corporate travel

In a dynamic world where the way we work has drastically changed, the travel booking process has not always reflected that evolution. We know that a streamlined and proactive business travel experience is something that travelers and companies alike are asking for. 

That’s why we’re proud to announce Uber for Business’s integration with corporate travel software Etta, powered by Deem. The new integration will enable business travelers to request on-demand and reserved rides with Uber for Business directly within the Etta desktop and mobile corporate travel booking platform. That means no matter where they are, business travelers can book flights, hotels, and rides with Uber seamlessly in one place. 

The integration comes on the heels of greater expectations within the global business travel space. Business travel spending is expected to jump 38% in 2022, with spending returning to almost $1.5 trillion in 2024, according to the latest business travel index from the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA). 

Organizations are also recognizing the importance of corporate travel and face-to-face interactions. A GBTA poll found that 86% of those surveyed need travel to accomplish their business goals, and 81% believe their domestic business travel will be the same or greater in 2022 than pre-pandemic volumes.
