Top Restaurants in Chicago

May 12, 2016 / Chicago

There is no shortage of incredible restaurants in Chicago. In fact, the options are endless. To help solve the age-old question of “What restaurant should we go to?” we looked at anonymized trip data between Friday, April 1, and Sunday, April 30.

Here is where Uber Chicago riders are dining the most:

1. BIG STAR | WICKER PARK

During patio season (or any season for that matter), Big Star reigns supreme with Chicago Uber riders. Paul Kahan’s Wicker Park institution serves up tacos, margaritas, queso fundito, and a great vibe.

2. PARLOR PIZZA | WEST LOOP

Many consider the West Loop to be the best Loop and Parlor is in the middle of the action. With the choice of an outdoor patio or a rooftop bar, it’s the perfect spot to watch the game, have a drink, and catch up with friends over pizza and bar food.

3. HAPPY CAMPER | OLD TOWN

What can we say? Chicagoans love pizza and outdoor patios. Go for the pizza and creative cocktails, stay for hours due to the funky, fun vibe and crowd.

4. SUMMER HOUSE SANTA MONICA | LINCOLN PARK

This Lincoln Park favorite is a popular destination year-round (we wouldn’t be surprised if it made it on this list every month). The bright decor attracts the beautiful people and the California-inspired menu never disappoints.

5. CAFE BA-BA-REEBA | LINCOLN PARK

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba has been popular with Chicagoans since it opened in 1985 (!!). With vast menu of delicious, small Spanish dishes and a warm, inviting atmosphere, it’s easy to see why.
