DISSECTABLES produces realistic, customizable, and dissectible models of anatomical structures and biological specimens for education. These models are inexpensive, and can replace or supplement the use of real specimens.
DISSECTABLES manufactures realistic anatomical models by using 3D printing with customized printers. Their team members have run pilot studies within medical schools to prove the efficacy of educational products and they won a small prize from Oberlin College’s LaunchU pitch competition.
3. WOMEN WITH DRIVE | BUSINESS SERVICES
Women With Drive Foundation (WWDF) provides a car to women in transition in exchange for their participation in an assessment that identifies her particular barriers to independence. Once identified, a two-year plan is established by our participants in conjunction with a WWDF program officer that is designed to build her skill sets so that she may become fully independent.
WWDF’s model taps existing resources within their communities, so that they build upon the successful models other nonprofit organizations already have in place. This feature helps eliminate redundancies and increase efficiencies.
