Arrange rides with Central

Central enables call centres to arrange Uber rides for anyone – even if they don't have the Uber app.

One easy-to-use tool helps you simplify ride coordination and streamline operations

On-demand or scheduled rides

Request an on-demand ride or pre-schedule a ‌ride up to 30 days in advance.

Flexible rides

Give your rider the ability to activate their ride when ready, reducing no-shows and cancellations.

Communicate with drivers

Provide drivers with special instructions to facilitate smooth pick-ups and drop-offs.

Pay-per-performance

Uber’s pay-per-performance model allows your organisation to pay only for rides that are taken.

Getting started is easy

Effortlessly request a single ride or hundreds of rides at a time.

Step 1: Enable

Enable Central on your Uber for Business Dashboard and assign access to designated call-takers, dispatchers and reservationists.

Step 2: Create

Enter your rider’s phone number, pick-up and drop-off locations, and other trip details.

Step 3: Notify

Riders will receive an SMS confirmation with their ride details and a link to track their trip.

Step 4: Track

Coordinators can also monitor a ride’s progress, message the driver and view any upcoming bookings on their dashboard.

'With Central, we’re able to drive down paratransit costs on a per-trip basis.'
