Whether you spend your weekends hacking together a product or are still plotting out your perfect pitch deck — UberPITCH is premiering in Vienna at the Pioneers Festival and this is your chance to get in front of some of the most accomplished investors.
Next Wednesday (May 25) anyone with 15 minutes to spare and a good idea can request a ride from the Hofburg. From 1 pm – 3.30 pm, distinguished investors from Speedinvest, Pioneers Ventures, Cherry Ventures as well as Nicole Glaros from Techstars – the global ecosystem that helps entrepreneurs build great businesses – will listen to your ideas in Vienna… and the rides don’t cost a thing!
UberPITCH will kick-off in Vienna, Austria, and then moving on to another 37 cities. The strongest of those pitches will be flown to meet Uber’s CEO Travis Kalanick in Berlin, where they can discuss their business strategies with the person behind one of the fastest growing companies of all time.
UberPITCH is a collaborative project that facilitates innovation within local startup communities to provide local entrepreneurs with the resources they need to accelerate the growth of their ventures.
HOW IT WORKS
- Request the UberPITCH option via your app between 1 pm – 3.30 pm on Wednesday, May 25
- If connected, you’ll have 15 minutes to pitch your idea to an investor
- Rides are free and will start and end at the official pickup location at Hofburg
- Inside each van will be a camera team and all pitches will be filmed. Before you jump in a car, you will be asked to sign our Terms & Conditions and our Media Release forms
There are thousands of strong ideas but just five investors for UberPITCH, so demand will be high. If you don’t secure a pitch on your first attempt, keep trying! Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
