To celebrate World Environment Day, we’ve teamed up with Dubai Internet City, Dubai Science Park and Averda to help people and businesses in Dubai safely get rid of their e-waste at the touch of a button.

Throughout this month, gather those gadgets and electronics you no longer use. We’ll handle the pick-up and recycling for free to help keep them out of landfills. Just request an UberRECYCLE and we’ll take care of the rest.

Details

From July 2 to 4 between the hours of 10AM and 4PM, select ‘UberRECYCLE’ to request free e-waste collection in participating communities.

How it works

• Prepare the items you want to recycle
• Anyone located in participating areas can open or download the Uber app and request an ‘UberRECYCLE’
• A partner-driver will head your way to pick up your items for FREE
• Items collected will be safely recycled by Averda
