Yay for Digital
I came across this blog.
The web-user who exposed the sham, says he discovered the hoax by studying the EFIX details which are automatically registered in the file of a digital image. The details proved that the picture was in fact a montage of various images taken on different days.

It's a long story, but when my sister was in Northern India, she had met several Tibetans refugees who had been victims of the regime.

The people who are trying to bring awareness to the plight of Tibet, do not need photojournalists with zero integrity.

At first I thought it was an image by Gilad or Lara-farie off DA, or the countless other graphic designers that call themselves photographers, but would not know real photography from a car crash.

Check this out from Deviant Art's front page.

When I was working as a commercial re-toucher if I had of done photoshop that sloppy, I would have been sacked. Yet now bad post production is now considered the norm, if not good.

I also left a comment for that idiot who thinks that the railway is a good thing.
I'm sure she thinks what the Belguim government did to the Congo was just "to educate" them.

While I'm at it, this shit.
Is on the DA most popular list.

Phew, glad I got that off my chest now I'm off to lunch.

By the way here's a link from the free tibet website, about the railway.

@Chris: Yeah that image was like Gilad on a bad day.
There history logs if published would be very loooooooooooong.
That porn anime fucker's webcam is the closest he'll ever get to a real woman.

@MyPrivateParty: Amen to that, very true indeed.
@Josh: I totally agree with you on that, digital art can be beautiful, but when somone says it is a work of reality rather than imagination, is when I have a problem.

no shit. that said ... even those two popular-dA-graphic-artists-photographers could have done a better job.

i want them to post their history logs. lets see if they're retouchers or shooters.

we both already know, though. ;)

hope you're well, mate.

did you see that popular porn anime fucker's webcam? wasn't bad. ;)

Oh Noes! Pr0n is back on deviantART?

What happened to the days when photograph was truth? When a photo was just a photo and the situation represented perfectly from the view of the photographer?

Photomanipulations can be beautiful works of art, but they are not photos, not in means nor essence.

A photograph should be as it was when it was taken, with as little interference as possible, and should not change the actual image itself, if you catch my drift. *sigh*

Very interesting indeed. It's sad that's it's barely suprising to hear about anymore though.

Nice page Treamus, Please click on the CASSETTE displayed on my page to listen to the music. Thats me signing and rapping on the first song. I also produced and wrote it. Strange enough, my EX-GIRLFRIEND's brother played the guitar. Things that I mentioned in the song came to pass in real life. Please listen to get the full STORY. I wrote the song but didnt think what I happened to simply create out of exploration of the art would actually happen to me.Please don't forget to VOTE. Over and Out. C.R.I.$.I.$.

Happy to find you here! By the way don’t listen to that double chined bitch curator. Your photography rocks...you just haven’t met the person who understands it yet. Personally I like your style, I feel like its a window through your eyes. Cheers!

Beautiful gallery!! I love your style, give me lots of inspiration as a new street photographer (: Keep the awesome work!

I really enjoy your work. Very casually, circumstantial and comical, it does have meaning! Much to the eye of the interpreter, wonderful. Unfortunately I have crossed over to the dark side of DSLR's and I haven't really gotten the swing of it yet. I think I need to get my ass out of the exhaustingly blah, US and hug my film camera close again.
Dec 06, 2007 9:07 PM
I really really enjoyed looking at your photos. I don't know what those so-called "curators" were thinking, but your work certainly has depth, humour and grit. Keep at it
