Well, it seems that whether I like it or not, my "favorite" subject, great powers and all their wars around the globe, keeps on inspiring me with new topics that are reveled every now and then. The last one however, is shocking!!
you probably already know that flickr decided to go through all the zillion photos uploaded on their servers and together with getty buy off copyrights from the photographers...of course if you have a photo of your dog and one from your door handle, dont expect to get any attention...they are looking for those that upload photos on a regular basis...which means tens per week...lets say, those that dont work and have nice gear and talent...but where does the money come from :) or from already selling photographers..but some local ones..and there are maaaany... so, the chances were and are small for those like me :) but I might want to setlle my flickr account...who knows when the devil's gonna knock on my door... :)
To be honest, there is only one shot that I like from Alec Soth. But that is very personal and not relevant at all for the rest of this post. his web page is like an dorm intranet where drunk kids show what they did last night. Nevermind. It's his page. There is something else that made me write this...
Facing the reality is not easy. Than again, what is real? What is OK and not OK? I know, these are questions with no common answers. But from time to time, it's good to ask yourselves : what are you proud of, dear Americans?
got a little homesick after I started reading the Macedonian history from VI-XVIII century...I recall some information and realize how huge is the history of my country Macedonia, of the Macedonians..we survived so much and will face even more in the future...especially if dickhead obama wins the elections...he'sa greek ass licker dumbshit...
