I guess it's just me, but it feels like the air on a cold friday/saturday night seems to smell so different. With the window open, I'm loving the air that is blowing at me while I write this. That sounds so weird but it's true. Its not the same on a tuesday, it's not the same during the day and it's not the same during summer.
If you haven't already given up on reading this confusing blog, I'll give you a bit of an update on the life. I've felt rather swamped with work. I recently finished a english class book club, but another one is set to commence soon. It's worth like 5-10% of my final grade, so slacking off with it isn't much of an option.
I've recently discovered a really funny comedian, her name being Catherine Tate from the UK. I love UK television. Here's a link to one of the videos. I've had alot of self-revelations. I realize that this world is soo big. I need to do a few things this week. Return a few things, mainly impulse purchasing in the after-christmas sales, a.k.a. boxing day, december 26th, its HUGE in where i live. (I got up at 6:30, and still didn't get the SLR i wanted. LOL.)
I need to buy a video camcorder, cause the one i used to have was complete shit. ANDD i'm gonna search through pawn shops with ALANA for a good, old school camera, ANYBODY got any particular suggestions?
Needa get some priorities in order. Need to do school work. Need to take super charge of my work. And do some random good acts for charity.
I hate when it is painful to swallow. But i guess it's better than being bed-ridden. (is that how you spell that? no red lines so I'm gonna guess that's right). I don't get really sick very often. The last time that happened was 2 years ago, and before that perhaps 3 years or something healthy like that. I guess I'm lucky.
I have been really overwhelmed lately. I'm having a hard time doing things that aren't hard, it's just i have to remind myself. A.K.A. Mailing an envelope.... I've been getting kinda ansy lately. I can't just relax. I love randomness, but it's been at high peaking levels these past few days.
This has been an interesting week and its not even past the first day. I've realized that i'm alot more reserved that i thought i was. It's just i like to keep to myself, and open up about stuff when i feel it's right. Am i so wrong? I'm gonna say no.
Alot of things have happened in the past little while. Alot of good things. Just this last friday and saturday were the shoot dates for the print and film component of that job i spoke of in an earlier post.
Honestly i couldn't of asked for a better shoot. The ad agency is amazing, the director was really easy-going and just everyone involved were the sort of creative people i like. The photographer was really nice, laid back and that fact that he's shot people like Steve Corell and Timbaland is pretty cool. All-in-all is was just a really funny and cool shoot. I can't wait to see the final result. I'll definitely keep you guys updated :)
Just yesterday i got new headshots. Ergg i just hate that word, "Headshots". I was really pleased with what i was seeing on the computer screen. The photographer was really fun to work with, funny and really inviting. We got about 150 photos done, but now i gotta wait around 2 weeks to see the final processed (A.K.A. Midly Photoshoped) and printed photos.
I'm too EXCITEDDDDDDDDD to care that school has started full on now and i'm loaded with work.
I'm anxious to find out what's happening on New Years. Nothing concrete is happening like last year.
Lately i've been fascinated by my family tree and national history. I know, it may sound weird coming from somebody this young, but i love it.
BIG NEWS...... It started on last friday. I just finished my math assignment and flew out of my school to get home, school ended early, but i couldn't leave early because of the assignment. I got off my bus and was walking home when i noticed a missed call on my phone.
My agents gives me the 411 about an audition i did earlier in the week. She told me that the casting directors absolutely loved me and that i was the greatest little actor they've seen in a while. I honestly couldn't contain my smile. I'm never the kid that gets praise. I never win medals and awards.
Anyway, i found out i booked the job, that'll include some print and a commercial. It's a fun campaign by an amazing ad agency, i won't be the regular boring "this is what we are selling" commercials. I can't wait to see how it ends up and the directors vision of it. WOW i'm nerdy.
My January will be HELLA busy for the first weeks. I gotta get permits, go to wardrobe calls, commercial shoot, print shoot and get new pictures.... I WOULDN'T WANT IT ANY OTHER WAY.
Finally some time to enjoy life. Christmas is near. Yay. I need to buy presents.
This weekend should turn out good. House party friday and probably something random on saturday.
Last weekend was rather random. I went to an christmas party. I guess you could call it an "industry party".....sure that'll do ... the film and telelvision industry. It was... intresting and pretty fun, seeing some people i haven't seen in a while but it was PRETTY FREGGING random. But hey i love random occurences. Of course i just had to get myself in awkward situations where i turned out looking like a huge dork, but whatever, shit happens. I had pics from the night ... but they're on a friends camera.... so i guess i'll talk more about it when or if i get them....
Last weekend i also did my anthropology experiment. I apologize if you were one of the chosen subject. Basically i had to watch people with my binoculars on public transit, and see how they reacted. Most people laughed, while i pretended not to hear them. This one young girl said "Well that's something new ... that's cute ... that's cute".
P.S. Did y'all know that "W00t" is now officialy a word?
I'm tired. Would it be possible to reschedule this snowfall? It's getting a touch ridiculous. Non?...
I have sooo much stuff to do right now. I can't even spend the time it's taking me to type this on not doing work. It'll all be over soon .... AKA Three days, when winter break will UNofficially start.
I wish i could say i was going to actually get some sleep now, but 3AM is more my thing right now.
