Interesting, isn't it? What you can do with digital publishing and the internet, I mean; compared to old fashioned publishing, print and distribution.
A download every 40 minutes of my "Twenty Portraits of 2007" free eBook is a larger 'sale' than most traditional photo books. Because it's digital and because it's free.
The thing I like the best it not having to deal with slow publishing houses trying to decide if they want to publish or not.

@Shane, the After the Tsunami book is still available, all one has to do is send an e-mail to ebook@afterthetsunami.org and one will get download links. Or visit http://www.afterthetsunami.org and follow instructions (which are to send the e-mail ;-)
I can't wait to check this out this afternoon. What a great idea to test the waters of publishing like this, too. I sent a message along as well in hopes of getting the "After The Tsunami" book also. If it's still available, that is.

I would by my internet is messed up - all I get is uber and deviantart - no google and pics are coming in crappy. When it's healthy I'll definitely download it!

I found it annoying, the D-Lux 3, that you can't get a good grip at it. That you use the screen as viewfinder is kind of OK. But the light from the screen, as well as the red AF light at night does not make it a stealth camera like a traditional quiet Leica M.
