Some Things I LOVE
My family and friends..
Myself, most of the time..
People who are responsible for themselves, yet still have a carefree attitude..
Love songs and love stories - no soap operas or romance novels though..
Fairy tales, especially the ones with some adventure - dragons, knights, wizards and sword fighting are even better..
Roller coasters..
Watching nature and people(human nature is most interesting, don't ya think)..
Stormy weather, to see a storm roll in through the hill country is fantastic..
Baking..
Decorating - cakes, cookies, or my house..
Making things with my hands - anything..
Art, in all itâs obvious forms, as well as those that are overlooked by the sometimes preoccupied eye/mind/soul..
Cooking - I tend to use several recipes for the same dish - I think my sister calls it âTerri-visingâ and usually turns out pretty tasty..
A good psychological thriller - either in book or movie form..
Bubble baths..
Being clever â once fixed our boat with a beer can when we got stuck out on Lake Travis
Bonsai Trees and California Sequoias..
The way music can move a person, physically and spiritually..
Making people laugh and just a good laugh in general..
Watching the clouds form and pass..
Sunrises and sunsets..
Snow skiing, a nice long easy run like Headinâ Home at Angel Fire..
The infinite universe beyond this planet and all the amazing wonders that abound there..
The sky at night, especially when it is quiet - oh so quiet..
Singing in the car, but not the shower..
Taking pictures, of anything or anyone..
Supporting the causes and people that I love, in any way that I can..
Savory or Spicy Food and Sweets, like....
Carnegie Deli Cheesecake..
Jalapeno Pistachios and Smokehouse Almonds (yes, the Jalapeno Smokehouse too)..
Chocolate - torn between Ghirardelli and Cadbury..
My husbandâs award winning baby back ribsâ¦tender, sweet, spicy, and a little sticky..
Cherry, vanilla, lemon, lime Sprite from Sonic - if they get it right, Route 44 of course!..
A pizza with a crispy thin Pizza Hut crust, extra Mr. Gattiâs sauce and toppings, but the size of a Sacconeâs Pizza would be my ideal..
Jamoca Almond Fudge ice cream..
Black licorice and Black Jack gum...
Rack of lamb..
Trout and shrimp - any way you can make it..
Coconut cream pie (especially from Monument Café)..
Gingerbread pancakes with bananas and pecans smothered in butter and syrup (from Magnolia Café) hot off the stove or cold from the fridge the next day..
Coffee, in all forms and most flavors..
Black, white, green or chamomile tea, very strong, sometimes sweet, either hot or cold..
Acting like a kid....
Playing Jediâs w/our light sabers on the trampoline..
Making a huge train track across the entire living room floor..
Walking in the rain..
Playing Marco/Polo..
Watching cartoons (especially Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob Squarepants, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Fosterâs, Scooby-Doo, or Disney)..
Going to an amusement park or an arcade (I ROCK @ Daytona 500!)..
Jumping rope, roller skating..
Painting - anything..
Sliding down a snow covered hill on a saucer..
And, sadly, miss...
California, head to toe, mountain to coast, I miss you..
The way my grandma hummed an old tune most the time..
The way my great aunt and uncle would lovingly bicker with each other in the car..
Going on weekend drives to the mountains..
...ahh, the mountains, their cool breezes, and the snow..
Having my best girl-friend around..
Getting a paycheck with my name on it for all the work that I do..Having a swimming pool in my backyard..
