Naked & Famous--an amazing denim line from Montreal, Canada! The entire label is made from raw Japanese denim (literally from Japan via a close-knit family run business!), which is beautiful, and the styles are all very clean and simple; Brandon's (designer) aim: minimal but outstanding. At the moment, there are more styles, cuts, washes for the men's collection, but there are a few styles as well for women! The price-point is very friendly and start at $98 and can go up to $190. As of now, my favourite style is the 30% silk/70% raw denim in the white skinny jean--absolutely stunning.
Anyway, so the launch for the Naked & Famous denim line was held at my all-time FAVOURITE denim showroom in Gastown, Vancouver-- which, by the way, if any of you lovely readers happen to visit, this store is a MUST for the shopping-stops.! Yeah, definitely. It all just seems so time-consuming. I posted photos of the Glow in the Dark tour before The Kills photos, even though it was after. haha I don't know why I am hesitating. We were soo close though. Literally right in the front row. I'll let you know when I post them. :) It is all going well for me. It is so hot outside though. I am so glad to be indoors. How was your weekend?
Dance classes! Sounds good :) I'm having lots of sports at school this week (yes, I'm done with exams but still going to school... rules at my school are WEIRD) but as I'm not very sport-loving I just sunbathe on the grass x) cause it's finally sunny!
next week I'll be truly done and not seeing the school in 3 months! haha that's when I'll start doing all that I have to before going to L.A... have a nice week girl!
Thanks so much! =] Well, studying hans't always been an habit for me, so I just left everything for the morining of the exam. It works really well (I'm getting a lot of A's) but that means that in these 3 past nights I've just slept 7 hours total.
I'm exhausted right now haha, but so happy cause I'm done with school! I'll still be going there till next Friday, but no exams or classes, so it's fine :D
I'm going to the same places you did haha. At least, this summer I've got included in the programme trips to San Francisco & San Diego, so unless they're scheduled for the same weekend I'll visit both. And WOW I've been dreaming for a while now about the FIDM, as this point of year is when we're starting to take choices about subjects & future. But well, I know what I want to be but not what to study, so I've got a bit of a problem now.
Anyways, the first thing of my list now are the exams next week, so my weekend is planned around study, study and study. Though today I didn't and tomorrow I've got a wedding to attend, so I won't do much either.
What about you? What are your plans this weekend? xx
your welcomee:) i'm from Sweden but I live in Holland. You're probably thinking I would know who Amalie is and yess i do haha. I only have some days left of school so i'm pretty excited for the summer vacation. the only negative thing is that I have two more exams blaaa. anything new with you, what are your summer plans? ahh i just love the summer:)
haha thanks :) I'm from Denmark but live in Holland, close to Amsterdam. Vancouver sounds nice though! Everything is right there for your disposal...And you went to New York! I have always always always wanted to go there, the city of oppurtunity. Yea, last exam was yesterday, and only one more week of school from today! Am almost prepared for summer now, all I nned is more clothes. And yourself? xx
Wow you're studying exactly the same as my uncle haha. And no, it's going to be my first time there and I really can't wait :) Have you been there before?
I'm from Valencia, Spain, which is quite far away haha. It's taking like 16 hours to arrive to L.A. :S But well, how's Vancouver? Canada is one of the places I must definately visit someday ;) xx
Yeah, I can't wait to go there, I'm really excited. I'm staying there for a month in Pasadena (Los Angeles) and I hope to enjoy it as much as possible :)
You're sooo lucky to be in summer now! Though I've got less than 15 days of class left, but full of exams haha anyway, I think I'll do fine.
Thanks! :) I'm good too, busy like you, cause I'm starting finals soon and I've got 12 (no joke, 12) projects to get finished before. This is when I start to think I should have worked more during the year haha. But well, in less than a month I'll be on summer vacation and soon after that leaving for California :D
When does your summer start? Good luck with that writing, btw! xxx
id love to step into a pair of their pants
