Naked & Famous--an amazing denim line from Montreal, Canada! The entire label is made from raw Japanese denim (literally from Japan via a close-knit family run business!), which is beautiful, and the styles are all very clean and simple; Brandon's (designer) aim: minimal but outstanding. At the moment, there are more styles, cuts, washes for the men's collection, but there are a few styles as well for women! The price-point is very friendly and start at $98 and can go up to $190. As of now, my favourite style is the 30% silk/70% raw denim in the white skinny jean--absolutely stunning.
Anyway, so the launch for the Naked & Famous denim line was held at my all-time FAVOURITE denim showroom in Gastown, Vancouver-- which, by the way, if any of you lovely readers happen to visit, this store is a MUST for the shopping-stops.! So it may seem as if I am neglecting my blog here on Uber, but i'm not. I'm on strike for a while considering that i'm dealing with several papers to write for my literature courses--my brain feels like a vegetable ! Nevertheless, I want to thank YOU ALL for posting on-going blogs so that I may live vicariously through you in the meantime--and thanks especially to those of you constantly posting fashion week updates and new trends for fall RTW '08, and quick trends for spring 2008! Cannot wait until the summer so that I can wear 50's bathing suits, laze around with friends, hang out at concerts, party in NEW YORK and take a gazillion photographs! cheers sweethearts!
