ABOUT ME: ShnakenShnaken Formerly "Trip Fontane" until it came to attention that a california band already had rights to that name. "Shnaken" is the nickname of Sean Jacobs the founder and writer of all music and lyrics. Shnaken recently collaborated Christopher Young of Super Ego Productions to produce 3 songs. Together, Shnaken and Super Ego re-recorded the 3 songs included on the CD. Currently, Shnaken is in the process of re-staffing the band for performances as well as, spending time in the studio. Based out of New York City the Shnaken sound is a dark, melodic rock n roll that lyrically focus's on the underbelly of human relations. Strong acoustic guitars accompanied with keyboards, deep base grooves, and pounding drum beats combine for form an original rock foundation. Shnaken is currently in rotation in many establishments throughout NYC, and has been receiving positive reviews whenever there's an opportunity for an industry ear to listen. Shnaken would appreciate any airplay possible. The pure love of music, and the passion to create something unique and "good" are the ingredients that made this project possible.
