Living in Los Angeles has helped me see various ways in which people struggle to achieve connection in a multicultural environment. The video project "Let's Eat" reflects my desire to visualize this subject through the culinary traditions of cooks in Los Angeles in relation to their customers. 3min excerpt from 13 min video, 2006.
During two days, a rectangular structure of ice blocks (measuring about 30 feet long, 10 wide and 8 high) will be built at the Getty Center. The walls will be broken, dismantled and repurposed. The remains of these activities will be left to melt.

The exhibition is within easy walking distance of The Standard Hotel, and driving distance of the beach. The show will be a vital source for art lovers, allowing them to discover new developments in contemporary art.
