Click. Click. Click. Click. Click. No, its not the sound of her clicking a pencil while trying to figure out what to draw. It's also not the sound of her teeth chattering outside in the cold Canadian Winter. Natasha's camera just doesn't stop clicking. Factory defect? Nah. Unless the creation of amazing photographs is a defect. Photography. Amazing. Natasha. Defective. Do we really need anything else? -Mykl
A blend of rough and cuteness, she's a master of photography, the film rolls through the camera with a flash, creating the coolest in scenic, artistic, and fabulistic photographs. -TE
So after we did the little photo shoot Friday with the masks and everything, we walked uptown and Lesley and I parted ways with Shawn and Sarah, and it was decided to go get some pizza. We saw Matty walked across the street and called him over and talked.. while standing and talking to Matty.. Kilby, Mike, and a bunch of other kids came up. It was like seeing everyone I haven't seen in a few months all within 20 minutes it was awesome. We went in the pizzaria and got some "za" as the cool kids call it now.
I also had this camera I found under my bed, and I wasn't sure if it would work at all.. but it did, so these photos aren't like the best quality.. but they are completly epic.
Kilbsters.
Mikey!
This is just the best thing that has ever happened to me... hahahahaha.
We had such a good time sitting and talking, laugh and eating pizza. It was very nostalgic or something.. like one of those "I'll remember this in 20 years."
I've had the best past 3 days. I didn't do anything blog worthy for awhile, like work and sleep and work and sleep. But about a week ago a bunch of my friends whom I haven't talked to in forever contacted me about Coffeehouse.
Now Coffeehouse is held by basically all the art kids at my old highschool, so I was all stoked to find out that they were doing one this year.
Anyway.. there will pictures of that later. But Thursday, my good friend Shawn asked me to colab with him for a shoot. I was like "heck yes". Because I needed to do something and get out of the house badly.. before I went insane.
So thrusday, Shawn came over to my house, grabbed my stuff, left and walked across town to his house. Grabbed his stuff, and it was funny too because I don't think I've been in his room before and we had to turn the lights out and shut the door. I'm pretty sure his mom likes me though so thats ok hahaha. So we left his house after we endulged in Five Alive and Breton crackers. We met up with Lesley and Sarah(Shawn's lover), and they got dressed up in some vintage dresses that they had. We also decided to use halloween masks as well.
Yes, I took a little break for a few days, because I was tired and really wasn't in the right mood to blog. Actually worked two 8 hour shifts for a change.. and yesterday I really did want to kill someone by the end of the day. It just drained me emotionally, and I was having a bad day to begin with let alone getting every single rude, bossy, bitchy trailer park trash at my till. The day just sucked.
I'm also really stressed out about a bunch of things like getting my portfolio all set up for the 27th when I have to go for my interview for university. I have a bunch of prints to print and it's probably going to cost me like 100 or so bucks. I also need something fancy to put all my photos in. I was going to order a book of them all but it wouldn't be here in time for my interview.. ugh. I'll figure something out but I better do it soon. I also have to paint some more stuff really soon as well.. ahhhhhhh. *smashes face against something sharp*
I'm also waiting for my friends to get their letters I sent them on Monday. I am the most impatient person ever. I'm going to go veg on the couch because I feel like shit today and yeah.
This is one of my ex boyfriends Jackson, who after a while.. actually talked to me last night. He's a good guy. I took this in my basement/recroom a really really long time ago when I was still figuring out my camera.
Today was pretty calm, went to get groceries and said hey to a few of my friends that work there. Bought some much needed mascara. And some stamps. So I can send some mail to people. Decided to send a letter to everyone whos address I know. If you want mail from me leave me your address and I'll send you a letter and we can be pen pals.
I did mention to my mom about the photoshoot I plan on going to in Mayish.. hmm she better drive me.
Gah.. I have to wake up at 6:30 to get ready for work tomorrow.. I'm so not thrilled. But right now I'm watching Dexter (which is the best new show right now in my opinion, serial killers and hot men.. yum) and eating popsicles. Work is going to suck tomorrow.

This is my loverly dear friend Lesley. She's amazing and I miss talking to her all the time like we did a lot when this picture was taken. We were walking around during the summer and we took a series of pictures of us pretending to be models. This one we snuck down by a water plant, almost dying and falling in water and over rocks we took a few picture by this flowery bush. I just really like this one because Lesley has such a beautiful face and she looks timeless. We had a lot of fun that day and we need to do it again.
Yesterday was awesome. I haven't done anything really today other then wake up, call my mom at work and asked for stamps, and checked all my sites. But yesterday rocked my shit. I went and checked the mail for some reason when I was downstairs, I think I just wanted to tell if it was getting any warmer outside.. seems like snow is finally melting a little bit. I just wish it time to not wear socks anymore. I friggen hate socks. But yeah, so I got the mail and looked through a bunch of pizza menus and "You just won a trip to florida" bullshit, and then I saw it. My first awesome thing of the day.
1. Letter from an online friend in Saskatchewan. She had asked me for my address a few days prior but I didn't think she would actually send me any thing. She wrote an awesome cute letter and drew a little dude on the back. It completely made my day, because nobody mails things anymore.
2. Finding out about a photo shoot about an hour away from me that is looking for photographers. It involves a bunch of teens around my age that are starting an online zine about fashion and style. Well I have talked to one of the main girls organizing the whole thing and she pretty much said that it's going to be shot downtown at a bunch of different places and that she'd like for me to come. Awesome. I'll be finding out more details as it gets closer to when there going to do it. I just hope I can sneak away and do this parent free. Kind of hard since I don't drive.
3. My good friend Shawn wants to do a colab thing (have to find out what exactly the plan is) for Coffeehouse. Coffeehouse is an event held by my old highschool which basically gets all the cool kids together to perform and show art and whatever. New people are organizing it so of course I have to go see everyone and see how it turns out. I'm guessing it's going to be awesome as usual. Still I have to find out what's up with Shawn. *if you're reading this let me know*

I figured since I just talked about him to show a picture of my friend Shawn. We've been friends for like 5 years and I just love him to death. Definatly one of my favorite people to listen to. He has a way about him that just makes you want to listen to him. Plus he's insanely smart and adorable which doesn't hurt. This photo was taken ... ugh.. maybe a year ago or so... I think. Anyway, I had invited a bunch of people over to hang out and we we're playing dance dance in my basement. I should mention as well that my basement is safari themed so yeah... he found this. That whole roll of film turned out being defective and weird but it sort of works.
Haha.. yeah. I fell asleep really early last night and then this morning woke up to my mom going "Why are you sleeping down here.?" I was sleeping on the couch. That would make sense if I fell asleep on the couch.. but no.. I fell asleep upstairs in my comfy bed.. what the hell? How did I end up on the couch? SO friggen weird.

On a ride. I have no idea what these people were looking at. Funny though because I had to quickly take this picture and shove my camera back in my bag so it wouldn't fall to it's death while on this ride. Camera on ride attempt number one: Success.
Before I forget to talk about it, a couple days ago I read this article on Yahoo about the worlds tallest man. (He's like 8'5'' by the way.) It explained how he lives in a poor part of the Ukraine, and that he couldn't afford to get special shoes made for his obviously huge feet so he'd have to farm and work in his socks. He had to quit his job because of it. Well basically.. the government and kindness of people around the world have made him special shoes, and clothes. That part got me until I saw the photo where they made him a giant bicycle. I wish I could find this picture but just the expression on his face was like he's a little child in a giant mans body. I actually cried thinking about it for some reason, just the whole gentle giant type of thing.
My sleep pattern is all messed up and I have to work tomorrow so it should be fun trying to wake up tomorrow morning. I spent all day watching these videos by this guy on Youtube who does run through's and commentary on a bunch of video games. I spent a good bunch of hours watching him play "I wanna be the guy." Which if you haven't heard of or seen yet.. do check it out.. it's like the most ridicolous hard game ever.. it's funny though. I watched him play through a couple other Mario games too.. just pointless entertainment. I didn't feel 100% today.. then I realized I forgot one of my blood pills this morning.. that would be why. I sort of just crashed on the couch and watched all those videos. Work should be fun though..maybe.. doubt it.

I got a comment on this photo (or one of the two of this guy, I just picked this one) today so I wanted to let everyone know about this man. Yes, it is another picture from the fair in September.. as are most of my personal favorite photos are because I love them sooo much. Anyway.. this guy is awesome. He's been running the bowling game since I was like 5 years old and he recognizes me and knows my name every year. He used to be a carnie back in the war era, and I'm guessing that he's probably pushing 80 years old. Now.. there is a secret to this game you have to make the bowling balls stay in the dip.. well he always touches mine pauses it making me win.. yeah and he gives me free rolls all the time. After years I've finally caught on to this. But yeah, I look forward to seeing him every year, though I do worry about the year he's not there.. sadness. But until then I always give him a hug and waste too much money at this game... I mean who could resist that smile. Hahaha.
(You can click on the picture and zoom in.. he's a sweetheart!)
I woke up and it was nice to see that there was some "real sun" from outside burning into the side of my face. I just layed in bed for about 2 hours because it was the perfect combination of cold and warm without covers on. It was peaceful. I didn't do too much today. I did eventually peel myself off my bed and went downstairs on a hunt to find some portion of food interesting enough to eat. Billot Logs and Five Alive seemed to do the job. I sat on the big couch and watched tv for a few hours until I realized I didn't even check my computer yet. Watched videos, talked to friends, read and commented on blogs and then waited for a admired Youtuber to come on live chat. Watched him, watched Big Brother, came downstairs. Now I'm been sitting here for hours in the big couch and I've had a headache for a couple hours so I built myself a comfy fort of pillows and blankets and a bag of chips. I'm watching this show about the "most evil" killers of all time and I realized that while my mom and were talking about it that I've always had this weird fascination with morbid people and serial killers. It's sort of creepy but I just find it interesting when they interview these people and they're sooo strange and highly intelligent. Anyhoo.. enough about serial killers. I'm happy I didn't have to work today, and I don't have to tomorrow.

This picture was also from a bunch taken at the carnival last September. This is my mom's friend Shawn. We we're just talking about him a few minutes ago and how amazing his hair is. You can sort of see it but he has the coolest hair I'
