That’s what I call a fucking day… You know, the one that even if you try to be cool, everything is trying to piss you off. I know those days. And I’m sure you do. Anyway. I woke up at seven o’clock and after a Gin Tonic, I was already in the damn bus. Then it starts. There was an old, obese woman who looked at me like I were a syringe in a foot. She sat beside me… and I lost my WHOLE leg in her fucking fat of whale. Je suis sortie du bus, then me suis lit up a cigarette and burned my favourite purple jacket. Further more, there was the stop to the doctor for my chest pain. Damn, he gave my an appointment for X-Rays. I hope sincerely that they’ll stick me one of these stupid diagnostic as soon as possible to get out of this shit… To conclude, there is no more vodka and it’s too late to be grateful… Definitely need to practise my English. Et y’a la réalité factice qui se réalise doucement. When you talk can I tape you?

IT MUST BE LOVE

Once there were mountains on mountains
And once there were sunbirds to soar with
And once I could never be down
I got to keep searching and searching
Oh, what will I be believing and who will connect me with love?
Wonderful, wonderful, wonder when
Have you sought fortune, evasive and shy?
Drink to the men who protect you and I
Drink, drink, drain your glass, raise your glass high

It's not the side-effects of the cocaine
I'm thinking that it must be love
It's too late - to be grateful
It's too late - to be late again
It's too late - to be hateful
The european canon is here

I must be only one in a million
'cause I can't pass the day without her
It's too late - to be grateful
It's too late - to be late again
It's too late - to be hateful
The european canon is here

hey, talent is 60% practice, get yourself a camera, a Bessa or a Yashica or if you really really want to dive in and spend all your money, a Leica, get yourself some film and just go for it. Or get yourself a little Ricoh, they have a hell of a lens on them for a compact point and shoot - well worth the money frmo what i've heard, and not too expensive to get hold of I don't think. Yeah, so just go for it - look at people's work, mine, Chris', Darren's, everyone you can get hold of, look at the classics too - Cartier Bresson, Rembrandt, Stieglitz, Winogrand, Mermelstein, Meyerowitz, and so on and so forth, look and just let a little of it sink in to you, at first immitate, realise how they've composed a photo, where they've put the subject, and try to recreate it in some way, not to the T of obviously, but pretty close - you'll learn. It is not because it's difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that is is difficult.
