my birthday in a few days, yipeee, not doing much, probably just painting the town red, as you do. then yet another festival next week, but its the mother of them all, reading festival! so can't wait, its my favorite of them all just three days of amazing music, amaing people, amazing fun! just hope the weather gets a bit better, rain storms today. makes me miss the carribean even more! here is myself on holiday a few weeks ago...
me and chris at reading last year as kate moss and, ? i don't know who...
try to ignore the arrow above kate moss' head nicely reading 'SLAG'. we british youth are an odd bunch. (i didn't do it!) speaking of kate moss i was in topshop oxford street and noticed the kate moss section of the shop and her collection has vanished, disappeared, conjugulated. (not sure if thats a word but you get the drift!) i wonder if they cancelled her? or if is shes working on something special. it was getting a bit boring anyway. they should get agyness deyn to do a collection would be far more popular now. well now especially seeing as shes replaced kate moss as number one on the best dressed list...

also had one of those great days yesterday were you find tuns of new music, had an ipod updating frenzy! added lots of ferraby lionheart, puffy ami yumi, the windupdeads, and jet lag gemini. why do all my new favorite bands have mad names. just noticed that. but in music that i already have and already listen to lots wise, i'm currently enjoying albert hammond, jr, she & him, the virgins OFCOURSE, the kills, mylo, the bloody beetroots, and dj skeet skeet. also worried that i've started to find the little curly haired chap from the jonas brothers quite hot? (ok, i know his name is nick, why hide it) and the other one too actually. shame about the other one that got hit by the ugly stick. you know who i mean, admit it. doesn't change the fact that i would never chose to buy their cd. keeps the kids happy though!

until next time, bonjour x

p.s two long, long years and its still pure gold

not mcdonalds.
the d&g pre fall 2008 ad...
i know this isn't really that new but i keep seeing it and i love it. everything there is amazing. except i have seen that bag in the bottom right corner in the flesh and it actually is a bit too wide for me with too many zips. i know bigger is better but not too sure about that one. but those shirtsss and the shoesss and the ad itself. its wonderful

so i have just returned from LOVEBOX LONDON WEEKENDER. and seeing as we only decided this week to go as bonita was working there, it was so much fun! good bands were the dandy warhols, the go! team, herve, dj mehdi, jack penate... plus an all round happy atmosphere, it was wicked. plus as a bonus, i happened to be in line behind none other than agyness deyn and albert hammond jnr in american apparel ha.

i am very tired i have worked alot this week but it was worth it for the night i had last night. (and monday because i stayed in and watched jawbreaker, did anyone else forget how great that movie is!?) anyway, last night... jay z played at the bic, and mark ronson supported. saw them both at glastonbury but was amazing seeing them somewhere smaller, jay z was on top form and marky ronson did his thing! told us all he'd seen jay z 11 times? prooving how old he is and that he should not be dating little teenage daisy lowe. even though she's a sweetie pie! but the best part of last night was the afterparty. because, as some rapper said who's name i can't quite remember, after the show theres the afterparty (and we drink bacardi) ? mark ronson did a surprise set, rocked the hiz-e-a-oussse. plus i got a little mark ronson high five which excited me! i didn't take this but here, this is how i spent my tuesday evening:

2020 is speedily becoming one of the best places in the world ha. kele from bloc party coming on saturday (which i sadly can't make, but who cares as i'll be at lovebox festival...) and steve aoki coming in august. ravaging. can't wait!

i found this picture of myself from glastonbury, then it dawned on me, i have no idea who this man on the left is, or where he came from. and why is his area of the photo faded. almost...ghost like. ok yes, i have decided that he is a ghost. seems like a happy ghost though.

currently listening to estelle ft. kanye west - american boy, gets me bouncing. which is good, because, i just came here to bounce? justice reference. check me out.
