I began playing piano when I was 13 years old and everything sort of skyrocketed from there. Completely self-taught, I began developing my own songs and lyrics within the next couple of years.
I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona where I was born and raised. I attend Shadow Mountain High School and am actively involved in a wide gamut of programs including playing the role of Danny in my school's Fall production of Grease. : )
I love performing in front of people and recently placed first overall in the Shadow Mountain 32nd Annual Talent Show. I performed my original song "Spaces," piano and vocals simultaneously. I was recently accepted to the Berklee School of Music in Boston and will be starting there in the fall. I don't believe that a true artist can ever run out of ideas and I feel that for as long as I keep music by my side, my creativity cannot cease.
For those of you that have been voting, thank you for your continued support...I know it sounds cliche but it really means a lot to me. I don't think I've really mentioned how my goal is not to be famous, not to be rich...it's about touching the world with my music. I want to make people laugh. I want to make people cry. I want to write a song that someone someday uses as their wedding song....or a song that gets someone through a hard time...I mean its just my dream and to be able to touch people in such a personal way would just be amazing...
...so I thought I'd get that off my chest...don't forget to keep voting...you guys are awesome. : )
