Last November, I traveled to Oberpfaffelbachen, Bavaria to film a documentary about a small village and their Rampenfest. What is Rampenfest? Well, it’s just like Octoberfest except there is a giant ramp involved. As to why it was built, that’s why I went over there so I’m not going to tell you until I finish the documentary.

But there is good news - the documentary should be finished in about a week. I hope. I pray. Stay tuned.

As you've probably noticed, I have a new blog header. Look at me! And for good reason. Things on the documentary front are moving along and I'm trying to make all my sites look nice and pretty. Much more is coming soon.

WTF
Ok, I'm somewhat new to the blogosphere (I don't even know if that's a word) but I've been getting lots of WTF and lots of less than subtle questions regarding my Flickr photos and YouTube videos. I guess not everyone is my Mom and knows what the hell I've done. For those of you who don't like to scroll, here is a brief recap: Last November, I traveled to Oberpfaffelbachen, Bavaria to film a documentary about a small village and their Rampenfest. What is Rampenfest? Well, it's just like Octoberfest except there is a giant ramp involved. As to why it was built, that's why I went over there so I'm not going to tell you until I finish the documentary. But there is good news - the documentary should be finished in about a week. I hope. I've assembled a rough cut and certain sections scream for music. So, if you are in a band, date the lead singer (or drummer) of a band, or still wear tight leather pants, consider this an open call for all to send me music to be featured in my documentary. It's like American Idol but with good music and I promise not to judge you if it sucks. What do you get in return? You get to help a man fulfill his life long dream to make a documentary about a small Bavarian village and their giant ramp. And if it blows up, I'll let you play at my Oscar party. Send links/messages via Facebook. Or just post your link as a comment here. I guess that's what it's there for.
