Well I have gone through and edited a bunch of old pictures from my trip to Costa Rica in 2006, and my trip to the northeast spring of 2007. fun stuff, i was bored, i didnt want to do work.

I have been playing around with lightroom alot, i set up some custom user presets to edit images.. they give very good "hdrish" results I am happy. it makes simple editing much easier. and then i still have photoshop for the harder stuff.

i hope you enjoy, just wanted to update.

Well a few things seem kinda messed up with uber right now... I can not advanced edit my page, and when I click to read the rest of my blog entry, it changes the font to black. So I don't know what's up with that.

But anyway, one of my favorite places to go on the North Carolina outer banks is Bald Head Island.

Since it is on the point below Wilmington, it affords sunset view and sunrise views over the ocean.

A rarity on the east coast for obvious reasons.

The latest house we stayed at was less than 15 or 25 meters from the ocean. It was the closest to the ocean of any house on the island, and thus gave great views. Here is our boardwalk.

I hope to continue this picture of the day business... it will definately keep me more disciplined in editing and what not.

July 7... how life flies by. Jeez, it seems like 2 weeks ago that summer started, in 2 weeks I go to cali, then in 3 I start school again. I really would like to start doing the 1 photo-a-day photoblog thing that people do. but i live in suburbia... its really not all that interesting, that and my 20D is so flippin huge to carry around.

As Chris Weeks and uber's highly touted leicas would do a magnificent job of fixing. Not saying that that is there only upside to be certain.

Maybe i should try my blogs "weeks style"

or maybe not

to disconnected for my brain maybe?

or just easier to read?

Anyone from North Carolina here? leave me a comment... if you happen to see I shot a wedding back in March was it? I will leave you with one of my favorites from that event.
