The only time I've ever been called fashionable was when I lived in North Carolina. I went to work one day wearing a pair of black jeans, a button down shirt with a complimentary colored t-shirt beneath it visible because I left the top four buttons open. People didn't wear denim to work in North Carolina (at least at the office I worked in). Then again, the woman who told me that had hair like Peggy Hill and her office mate was wearing a mustard colored shirt with a brown tie and his trousers (the only good word for them) had the slightest hint of a flare at the bottom.

Oh, this wasn't 1976, it was 1995.

So why am I writing this?

I love cars. When I was a kid I loved fast cars. I helped a friend rebuild a '68 Camaro that we painted bright yellow. Originally we had a 350 engine in it but after getting pulled over six times in a month we pulled the 350 and put in a 6 cylinder that made it run like a moped. But it looked bad ass.

Now that I've aged, speed is still good but I like luxury a bit more. I have a nice car now, which I love but you should always think of the next step in anything you do. For me the next step is a BMW 645ci

That color is atrocious, but the shape of the car, the feel when you drive it, all come together to form exactly what I'm looking for. Wow, BMW should give the designer of this car a raise, a corner office and a free house in the country.

I know many people have an aversion to BMW's. One guy I know says only tools drive them. Whatever. I've liked BMW's since I can remember. They look nice, run great (for the most part) and in my experience service is a dream.

I've long claimed my affection for BMW. Although I don't have a favorite driver, it made me smile when I saw BMW-Sauber place 1st and 2nd in the Canadian Gran Prix.

Then, I saw this

BMW X6
BMW X6
This thing looks so retarded I want to put a helmet on it so it doesn't hurt itself.

It looks like the guy that designed the Pontiac Aztec and AMC Eagle found a job in Bavaria.

Seriously, did the President's nephew design this during a summer internship? Who the hell approved this design? What was the exact cocktail of hallucinogenics that caused anyone to say "Yeah, that's the one for me!"

After seeing this, that quote about only tools drive BMW's suddenly gained some merit.

Usually I'm a pretty laid back kind of a guy. Hurt an animal for entertainment . . . I don't like it.

I wish I could be more like a dog. I hold too many grudges.

So we've been working a lot lately. . . for the past year and a half. Hopefully everyone is enjoying what we're able to build for you. Bugs are inevitable but trust me, we're always on the lookout to get those fixed. In fact, that's pretty much what I'll be doing for the next couple of days. So . . . no more wasting time writing blogs. Time to go find and fix bugs.
