'Kijke kijke nie kope' - is a phrase merchants in many South European and North African countries use when the Dutch scour their market goods, it is Dutch and means 'Looking looking, no buying' It is a mixture between an invitation (come buy my stuff) and an insult (you cheap Dutch, you never buy a thing) Thanks for your comments on my shots, I'll be posting even more the next couple of days!
Hi Devika, hope you're allright!? I've added some bw shots and would appriciate your comments! Cheers, Johan (who's never seen an Bollywood movie, yet...)
Hello Devika.....Thank you for the praise on my photographs. I have a ton of photos that I still have to scan too. Your photos are quite good too, i enjoyed then very much.
So I know that I signed up here a relatively long time ago and I've been extremely inactive but hopefully that's about to change. It's not the sort of thing that I should start thinking about when I'm right in the middle of finals. Then again, I think of anything and everything when I have finals. Never mind the work that I have to do. Or the fact that these are the grades that will go on my transcripts. It's college. Enough said.

I have been meaning to go out and take more photos again. I love my camera. I really do. It's just that I need to work on the actual photography skills. Enough of the bitching, I know. And do something already. I've never been good with blog. I tend to store everything that happens in my head and never write it down. Then again, I keep forgetting to do a lot of things. Maybe this blog will remind me to do all the things that I keep promising myself that I will do. Perhapswriting it down might actually help
Like trying to figure out what post production is about. Like trying to figure out when I can go on holiday. Like getting that damn license. Like being more active on this community which seems pretty cool. Very interesting people here. Like DA. Except, different too. I should be more active there as well.
Ok, dinner. More later. More posts perhaps? More photos next week maybe? Maybe.
@Ioanna... please start.. i would love to see more from you! @pat: - i'll try my best... i've noticed more and more coming from you.... i hope i can do the same... @Robert - that's really good to know!!! :) @CLE-RF - thanks mate.. seriously. that's all i can say. and im going to make sure i give you reason to come back regularly. :)
Reading this, I can see why you liked the 'Pensive' shot on my pages =) Too bad that was a lucky shot (with a lens not registering correctly on a body), so kinda hard to make that into a benchmark shot... Thank you for your comment, I find your photos to be 'related', it's as if you have managed to create a cohesive set of shots already. Seems to me, you are in there yourself. This is rare I guess, having the ability to put yourself in your work! Please shoot more! Friend request sent, I wanna come back regularly here! Cheers, Johan

Just remeber Devika. You can only do what you have time to do. So take your time in life. You will have all the time that you need. We are all not going anywhere.
i was the same way too....i signed up for uber and then i don't post anything for months cause i was busy going here and there and i'm just now really starting to post on a regular basis...so, i'm looking forward to seeing you post more too when you finally get free time :)
I'll agree with you. There are so many things I wanna do but keep skipping them, forgetting them etc, and I've been in this site for a while but still haven't posted a blog myself or anything! :P!
