I love me some M.I.A. so i was super stoked when I found that she may possibly be coming out with her own line of clothes and whatnot. If you go to her website miauk.com you can see what I believe is a sneak peak. The video hurts my eyes but the clothes are amazing.
Who is A.C. I don’t have time right now to look up his biography, but from the glimpses I’ve seen of him he’s definitely a creative artist. Creating mixtapes and album art that emulates many commercial advertisements we’ve probably bumped into a couple of times. In “New Soul” he creates his own rendition of the YaelNaim’s Apple inc. commercial and also borrows apple’sadvertisements to create his own unique video. Like he says in the beginning “These dudes are doing a lot of commercial, but they ain’t doing tracks from commercials.” He’s fresh out of the box.
Besides “Sing for the Submarine”, “Man Sized Wreath” is my favorite song on Accelerate. The song has a late 60’s feel but the video is definitely this millennium.It’s just like R.E.M. to kill the protagonist 12 seconds into the music video. Luckily he returns to give us a glimpse of the possible future(?). I would share you my personal view of what the video is saying but I’d rather let you come to your own conclusions.

Wow good job CSS. Just like Nas, CSS is on a music video rampage releasing their second video in less than a week. “Left Behind” definitely fits the mold of a cSS jam. Dance rock Guitars. Check. Loopy Synths. Check,Check.Sing-a-long chorus. Check, Check, and Check. The song is actually fairly good; can’t say the same about the video. It’s interesting. The End.
