Just another follower from dA joining Uber. Your posts always make me laugh and brighten the day. You're an inspiration! Oh and you make some decent photos ;) I'm really digging this band of merry men...
Hey Chris, I was checking out RFForum for comments on the nokton 35 1.4 and someone linked to your blog. Regardless what many idiots say, I agree with picking up the camera and making photos, not just comparing lenses as a mental masturbation. Your review convinced me that getting that lens was the right choice.
Cheers from Mexico
p.d. I've got most of my photos up here on uber - just need to fill the yadayada descriptions...
whereas it may have looked really funny to a passerby, i was actually a) trying to make a photo and b) it seemed that the closer to the ground i was the less the wind sucked.
the passerby says to me, in that angry-old-white-man-kinda-way, "i'll look for your work in national geographic." i laughed ... and was still poppy papping...
and whilst hearing that from that angry old man and his silent wife ... i thought that i'll bet that would have really pissed off someone who's wet fucking dream was to be in nat geo.
