of college. as against the notion i started out to be, i completely enjoyed it. college is it's own little world, and i feel i can get my head clear there. Sarah and I are definately moving to Norman soon.
I'm still interested in hearing what more of you think pertains to "us" specifically. come on, let me know what makes us so different from the guys before us. so far we're going to cover general attitudes/increase in depression, technological safety and naivty, and our overall communication guidelines.
Sarah and I are working with a producer to kick off our own local show to talk about our generation and the issues we face in being so. We meet again next week to start co-production, and we are to come up with people and topics to present on this show. the idea is to show how we break the mold from what we're expected to behave like with our "look" and to prove to people that there is a hope for wholesomeness, and that all the hardships we've been through were not in vain, and that some of our youth choose to refrain from idiotic choices and that its OKAY to be yourself. Her and I have grown up really fast the past few years, and we have a history that demands a little more from us than most kids our age, and we are SO looking forward to sharing that and maybe helping somone else's life get better like ours did.
So if anyone has any ideas on what they think would be important to bring to our generation or something that needs to be said to an older one, let me know!
We also still have to come up with a show name, so throw some ideas at me.
So. Sarah and I were in LA for a week. We got jobs assisting a producer here in OKC that is going to make it happen for us. There always has to be that "one" person that loves you and motivates you to get things done, and we definately found her. I almost cried when we landed though, I loved LA. I guess the only positive way of looking at this is that we're bigger fish in a smaller pond here and the way we kick ass about walking into places and getting people to adore us is a great opportunity. there arent many of us here, so we created a new market as far the industry here goes.
Yesterday consisted of filming a zombie movie, and then an unnecessary amount of drama. Lets just say that there will be many consequences and sacrifices and people you will dissapoint when you choose a path in entertainment. Models and actresses have to wait a long time and take everything they're given before it really happens for you. I'm definately not gloating to be the child with rockstar dreams, there's a lot of heartache that comes with it. No pain, no gain. But the fake blood was fun. ^_^
I just got done filming a reality tv show, but i can't really talk about it, so shh. Next weekend we audition for a production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and there's going to be a fashion runway for Rok Bar that i'm getting in on, and Sarah will do my hair for it. She works at Schardein & Co (hair salon) and i guess they're doing all the funky hair.
Our producer is going to be taking us to Sundance film festival later this year, and we're going to stay out there as it's pilot season for soap opera auditions. We might be able to snag an entrance to the Twilight premiere. Tons and tons of stuff to look forward to.
this weekend i was in Joplin Missouri for a photoshoot. . .
Brian Eyeworks is the shiz. (understatement) . . .be prepared.
the drive home seemed to be so much longer than the way there. i guess that had to do with me falling asleep on the road. that's just what happens when you drive back to OKC in 1 in the morning. but it was all worth it.
