Went out for dinner for Mother's Day last night. Ended up at Olive Garden, since we were all having a hard time deciding where to go lol. We were going to Trattoria in Astoria but the only time slot open was 10pm, and we didn't want to wait that long. It was really busy at Olive Garden last night, we waited for a table for about an hour. It was good though, had fun.
I'm cooking my mom lunch today, since I woke up.. now lol. Too late for breakfast. =]

I think he should've won last night on Rock the Cradle. Not that it'd make a difference anyway. He could get a recording contract anyway, especially with connections through his father. I just see Crosby Loggins as stiff on stage and low on energy. Oh well.

Anyways, the cops and forensic people were in front of my neighbor's house yesterday. Apparently someone broke into their basement because their windows were smashed. They think it's one of my neighbor's so called friends who resented him for some reason, because he does have problems with people. I'm just glad it wasn't done to my house. lol

I'll be going to see them on June 10. I can't wait. I love their music. We Are the Fury will be there too. This kinda makes up for me not going to Bamboozle. =] And tickets are just $8, perfect since I'm supposed to be saving enough money for prom... and after prom! Just about a month away!

OMG. Did anyone watch Gossip Girl tonight? This episode was by far the most insane. First of all, I already heard about someone coming out gay tonight, and I did suspect Eric. He has a dainty quality to him. But it seems like Asher's character just left as quickly as it came. I am so glad Blair took her spot back as Queen Bee. Jenny seems to annoy me a little bit.

But Serena's secret! She "killed" someone?! I thought she was going to say something like "I have a sex tape." That was crazy. I bet it's that guy in the video. Or Georgina was the one who killed that guy and convinced Serena she did it. She did fool Serena once when she put something in her drink. Whatever, I need to know..! lol

Okay, and if you haven't already noticed, I'm just a tad bit obsessed with this show. So forgive me =]

So I was on the train today, and some man in his 40s? started talking to me. And yes, he wasn't talking to himself. lol About random stuff... out of nowhere. He was telling me that he was just coming from New Jersey, and how he enjoyed shopping. Blah blah blah, I started zoning out. I was giving him the polite nod and turning to my phone to pretend I was busy, to give him the hint to shut up. But he just kept on going! Whatever, he eventually stopped when he had to get off, but that was the most random thing ever.

I'm out for dinner.

I wish I was at Bamboozle this weekend. Oh well, there's always Warped.

I skipped my Pattern Making class this morning at the Fashion Institute of Technology. We're just working on our dresses, and we have two more weeks to finish it. I'm almost done so I decided not to go. I wasn't going to my second class either, the Intro to Fashion Industry class because my professor has been absent for two weeks. I went anyway just in case, because some woman for branding was going to come in and talk. And Kathlin Argiro was going to come in to hear her talk.. and I didn't want to be missing when my summer boss was going to be there lol.

Turns out, we ended up sketching for three hours, which I could have done at home. At least there was some sort of street fair going on outside so I checked it out during our 20 minute break. Oh yeah, my professor was like "I'll be back in 10 minutes". LOL. She didn't come back until 35 minutes later. WTF? I probably could have gone home and she wouldn't even notice. Whatever. At least I'm home now.

Anyways, talk to you later.

Haha, so I was walking home from school an hour ago and I passed by so many mattresses that were waiting to be taken away by the garbage men. Is it like throw out your mattress day or something? lol.
Other than that, just another boring day. Really tired. I feel like I could use a nap right now, but I have tennis practice soon.
Anyway, tell me about your day.

We all got new ID cards today. Except they used our picture from freshman year, which was like four years ago. It's hard to tell from the picture, but I don't look like that anymore. And they stretched each picture out so we all look fat. No idea why they would give us a new one now though. The school year is almost over. Whatever.

By the way, I think Tyra made the wrong decision during elimination in America's Next Top Model last night.

The Fashion Show is cancelled. Not many tickets are being sold, let alone how small my school is. Oh well. Part of me is a little relieved though. We weren't exactly so ready for it. However, our hard work will pay off soon. We are in the midst of creating a "Club" Night, during the Freshmen Orientation in June. We will be presenting our Fashion Show along with the Desi Club, and viewing artwork from the Art Club and the Photography Club. We will also see some people perform as part of our little Talent Show sneakpeek as well. Just to show the upcoming freshmen what it's like in our high school. Plus, Freida & I might pass the Fashion Club torch down to two juniors. (:
And I am so sick of hearing about Miley Cyrus's photo shoot with Vanity Fair. Almost every channel and magazine can't get enough of it. It's really not a big deal, and she's revealing the same amount of skin as she would if she were to wear a backless gown.

Well, I'm off to tennis practice.

I got a summer internship position with Kathlin Argiro! Haven't heard of her before? She dresses Stacy London, from TLC's What Not to Wear. She's mostly a bridal designer, though. But I'm so glad I got it! I get to spend my July before college in her AH-MAZING studio. Her showroom is definitely so pretty. You can see some pictures I took from her website below. I can't wait to meet new people and learn the ropes of the fashion industry even further. To learn more about her I guess you can check out her website, CLICK HERE. Time to go on a shopping spree to look cute everyday, while working! Haha

I love that song "Labels or Love" by Fergie. It's going to be the Sex & the City Movie theme song as well. I was talking to Freida today, and we decided that we'll be using that song for our upcoming segment during annual Fashion Show at school. The second song will be "2 Hearts" by Kylie Minogue, which is equally as amazing. That is only our backup, in case we run out of time while models are walking. I'm so excited! The show is in two weeks!! Except, we're nowhere near ready, so we're all kinda rushing everything. It will be fabulous though, and everyone will definitely look fierce!
