WOAhh. So it's been a wicked long time since my last post. i guess my lazyness about blogging has striken! ah well....i justtt got a new macbook..thats amazing. and i put up the brothers johnson as my background.so it makes me way to happy way when i open up my computer haha.
Ive been pretty sick..missed a lot of classes and stuff. the good is that it wont REALLY matter anywhere because ive ben accepted at Proctor Academy, in NH for highschool and its nott like their gunna decline me at this poitbn..they kinda cant..yiipaaee

NY was uhhmzingg. i thrifted my HEAD out. goin back in april with my dad, though! thats my trip to go and thrift but also go all out of new shit due to not having a deal with him about only thrifting..like i had with my mom for that trip.
I haven't been into the hip hop lately which is sad...
The snow is almost gone in VT.WHOOHOOO. im really really ready for spring!!

OH p.s. today is national act like a t-rex day....
yesterday, here in the town of burlington, was mardi gras(which jana and I found out ON our way into town...) We got out of the car to find a HUMONGUS crowd..tons of drunk ass people...mardi gras beads flying everywhere off the floats (we had to cover our heads in case a necklace came zooming straight for it..) So we made our way, cutting through alleys and the park, to the lab (dj school/hangout, where i take lessons), FINALYY. when we landing on the couch..with practically no noise and no wasted assholes...my teach gave us huggeee handfuls of dj babu flyers and the lab stickers to hand out to everyone possible.yess..? Babu is coming to a club in burlington called metronome friday the 29th (come if your out hur!!). So we ventured our way out onto church st. where all the people were and gave them to evryone possible. junkies were corwding around us demanding they have a sticker then running away and freakin outtt! haha. it was also FRIGGIN cold. i had on my moccasins, AA long hoodie, leather jacket, and a beanie...so i wasn't really "flyer-handing-out-prepared. other people who'd you go up to would kinda give you the stink eye after you said, "oh herre..check this out!". etc etc. when we handed out all the flyers and stickers we practically gave it a full sprint back to the lab, up the stairs, through the hall, and then BAM, onto the nice leather couch. ahhh...peace! then we chilled at the lab for the rest of the day.
I reallly wish i had taken pictures...but i left my 2 cameras at the lab =( so they wouldnt get in the way of intense flyer handing outing.
after that, my mom and i saw vantage point!! it was crraazzyy good and intense like insense [or something]..i was freakin out every bit. at one point i noticed i was practically panting..haha. i get really into movies..like im IN them. it sucks sometimes...BUT I RECCOMEND IT(vantage point..not the freakin out part)!!
LASTLY..TOMORROW I GO TO NY!! there i will be sure to take LOADS of pictahs! yyeeee! im soo pumped.
just got home from seeing Pink Floyd Experince and im still dazed. It was carraazzyy good. between the insane biker chick with long brown hair macking on another chick in the aisle then running up and dancing like coyote ugly out-takes on crack(whileee everyone else was sitting); then the older man pumping his fists, doing xtreme air gutair and rocking out; and lastly [but not last] the funky fumes and smells....it was killer i guess. quite the 'experience' well worth it.
Other than that, I had a gnar day. first went downtown to perfect my DJ set at the lab(which is actually gunna end up being pretty sick). Im preforming in 2 weeks or so, after babu comes through. learn some duck scratches, etc. haha. THEN went to mentor at clothing line, the bestttt vintage/ consignment/new clothing store round the 8022222222! and copped this spectacular 70s jumper made out of.."100% acetate"...for free cus Heather knows i am prolly the only chick wholl fit in it...good deal. at first i just wnated it to have in my closet, for that ONE 70s flashback party i go to a year...then i found out it looks kinda amazing under my AA slimslacks (yesshhh).
anywayyyzz...still excited to go to ny monday(2 EFFIN DAYS). schwinggg
now i need to stock up on flim.....even though it is still $80 for a 5 pack(50 photogs)...i would have thought they would at least given us some polaroid users some slack and dropped the prices [even a little]...
The fact that I am going to Nyc in 5 days makes me love life. But the fact that i may not be able to do ALL the things i think i can isn't as crumb. It only means that I will have to go backkk (not bad)! This trip is strick thrifting. brooklyn, manhattan, soho, etc. Since I was 9, I have had thrifting under my belt in NY, since my aunts are in the fashion biz and know the DL. Im also going to Avenue q (gay muppets on broadway), U2 3-D at golden theatre. So pumpedddd! Besides shows and thrifting, Im gunna stop by my familys' gallery which is on madison ave and try to land a sweet internship for two summers from now and stay wit my uncle, splitting the time between that and interning with my aunt who is an art buyer(chooses pieces to go in fashion shoots, etc). My list of things to do while in NY?: -land intern job -thrift all the stores i have listed in my moleskine (twentysomething) -take LOTS of photogs with my new fisheye and timed canon -find as many pairs of sk8 his as possible (though need to be thrifted or century21-ed, due to deal of ONLY thrifting on this trip) -hit up the $2 designer scarf bins EVERYWHERE -no knockoffs (urgh knockoffs) -TAKE PHOTOGS -eat every hour due to blood sugar effecting above -molskine about eveything above
The facts are that i am new to Uber. I hold down keys of which i am trying to accent letters in words WAYYY to much. I have the bug for nyc but live in vt. I need time to myself. I stay loyal to people whom i love and will take it personally if you disrespect them, but don't say sorry if you do because you wont be able to earn my respect back that way. i can always wear one more necklace or go up a size in door knockers. I have never walked out of urban outfitters, or a thrift store without buying something, though i try way too hard not to. What's one more pair of retro kicks, or 5 more months with a knee injury? Haircuts just may be my favorite thing. ever. Don't talk to me about life unless you would enjoy loosing 3 hours of your time. or anything you think I love or live for. I feel like im being chased by my own life. but when it tags me, i go down like the titanic.
