Special Message Columbia County is a microcosm of New York State in many ways: we have rural, urban, and suburban areas with unique characteristics and concerns, yet we must work together to provide government which cares about people. Columbia County Democrats put public service first. We pride ourselves on our commitment to responsive, responsible leadership. In each of our towns and in the city of Hudson, we elect Democrats who make a difference. We're actively involved in the Democratic Rural Conference and the Hudson Valley Caucus, as well as the New York State Democratic Party. It is through the bridges that we build among Democrats across the state that we will continue to strengthen our party, here in Columbia County and in all of New York.
