Statement

Tony Banuelos is a multi-disciplined artist who lurks in the city of Los Angeles, CA. He is currently researching film with a specific interest in the space between entertainment and visual trauma. Like a campy horror flick, his work simulatneously satisfies and repulses the senses. He uses mutated props and sets to reverse the numbing of entertainment, scraping up filth found in its depths in an attempt to salvage knowledge and beauty.

He is awaiting the next hokey apocalypse.
